Sound Charts & Phonics Review Games

Give your child the confidence in learning the more advanced spellings of the vowel sounds in English, as well as the options of what to say when we see a certain spelling for a vowel sound.  Included are four engaging games including, Guess My Sound, Sound Imposters, Don't Eat My Sound, and Sound Swat!
 
These charts are a powerful tool in a child’s reading journey, providing an anchor for referring to the most common representations for each of the 15 vowel sounds as well as the options for what sound to try if they’re stuck. The four games included are some of the most enjoyed at the Idaho Reading Therapy reading clinic. The Sound Picture chart has a few options your child can choose from, one with just the sounds displayed, one with an example of a word where each spelling for the sound is given, and one where they can add the spellings as they’re discovered.
