Nurturing Literacy

What is Phono-Graphix?

Phono-Graphix is a phonetic-linguistic approach with a 98% efficacy rate based on peer reviewed research.  It gives those learning to read a framework for the English code, teaching them the three skills a reader needs and how to apply their code knowledge in multi-syllable words. Its creators, Carmen and Geoffrey McGuinness, wrote Reading Reflex first published in 1998 and founded the Read America clinic. It is now used all over the world as a foolproof method for teaching children to read. Anyone can be certified with the online certification course taught by Michelle Cicotte, a certified trainer.
